The IASP Developing Countries Collaborative Research Grant in Cancer Pain supports international, interdisciplinary collaborations in cancer pain research, specifically between laboratories/research teams in a developing country and in a developed country

Multiple grants of US$20,000 each support researchers who are in the early career stage of pain investigations

IASP Developing Countries Project: Initiative for Improving Pain Education
Educational support grants for up to US$10,000 are available to improve essential pain education for clinicians in developing countries

IASP Developing Countries Collaborative Research Grants
Two grants of up to US$15,000 encourage and support collaborative, multidisciplinary research between laboratories in developed and developing countries working on the same topic

IASP Collaborative Research Grants
Three grants of up to US$15,000 support collaborative research between two or more research groups located in different countries


EFIC Grants

Research Grants for Clinical and Human Experimental Pain Research

These biennial grants totalling up to € ۲۰۰۰۰۰ from Grünenthal GmbH are supporting young scientists early in their career to carry out innovative clinical pain research in any member country of EFIC. Individual research grants are valued at up to € ۴۰۰۰۰ per project for a duration of up to two years. Research Grants are intended for clinical and human experimental pain research. Research proposals on animals, computer simulations, cell lines etc. will not be considered. The decision of the awards is made independently by the EFIC® Committee on Research.

IBRO Grants

 

IBRO International Travel Grants aim to foster neuroscience research, especially in less well-funded countries, by providing support to high-quality neuroscientists from diverse geographic and scientific areas (US/Canada Region excluded), who wish to participate in international neuroscience meetings.

Amount: up to 1500 euros

Priority is given to those who have not obtained funding from this program within the past three years. Applicants cannot apply for more than one category of funding within travel grants in the same funding cycle.

At least one letter of reference is required. Failure to provide this will result in disqualification.

Online applications open approximately one month prior to the deadline, closing at Midnight CET of the deadline date.

Application Deadlines:

March 1 – for travel to meetings or conferences occurring during July to December of that year.

September 1 – for travel to meetings or conferences occurring during January to June of the following year.
